About me

Anan Fries (they/them) is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher who works at the intersection of digital and performing arts. They create performances, installations, and video works influenced by Posthuman and Xenofeminist discourse. Their works explore themes of transformation, reproduction, and the entanglements of tech and power. In 2025 they were artist in residence at transmediale and they won the Digital Storytelling award at idfa DocLab.
