This workshop explores what it really takes to self-publish and market an indie game today. Combining current market data with hands-on experience from recent releases, it focuses on practical strategies that lead to visibility and sales.
Topics include pre-launch planning, the role of Steam Wishlists and their conversion into sales, indie performance trends across 2025 and early 2026, and marketing approaches that have proven effective, especially on social media.
Participants may
apply with an unreleased PC game to receive live feedback from guest marketeer and indie publisher Thomas Reisenegger (Future Friends Games), or join as audience members.
